Limestone
Gardeners with low pH will love this product! It's a liquid micronized dispersion limestone that, because of its extremely fine particle size, raises pH rapidly. Works months faster than regular or granulated lime, and will not burn fragile roots like hydrated lime. Begins to raise pH immediately, works completely in 10 days. Multiply the amount of liming material recommended on your soil test results by 0.3 to determine amount of Limestone F necessary. Or start off with 1/2 gallon per 10 gallons of water.

Sometimes, in our eagerness to get our gardens planted, we've been guilty of not properly preparing the soil. When you've got 20 fat-caned new rosebushes just quivering to grow, it's kind of hard to keep them soaking an extra day or two while you double-dig a bed and add the necessary amendments.
